Chorlton Arts Festival Walks with Cath Dyson

Our Green Chorlton Map walk: Chorlton Water Park and Kenworthy Woods 
Saturday 11 September 2021. Meet 10.45am, leaving promptly 11am 
A 2-hour guided walk using the beautiful Our Green Chorlton map to explore the Chorlton Waterpark and paths and orchards of less-visited Kenworthy Woods. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn some navigation skills to help you explore the outdoors. 
The pace will be gentle, the guided walk is available to all ages, well behaved dogs welcome. No booking required.  
Copies of Our Green Chorlton map will be available.  Bring a compass or download a compass for your mobile phones. Spare compasses will be available to borrow.  
Make sure you have suitable waterproof clothing, walking shoes, a snack and water.  No booking required.  Under 16s accompanied by adult please.

Our Green Chorlton Map walk: Getting lost on purpose on Chorlton Ees
Tuesday 14 September 2021. Meet 5.45pm, leaving promptly 6pm, finishing 7.30
Do you feel nervous about exploring wildlife areas in case you’ll get lost? Do you struggle to work out paths connect in Chorlton Ees? Join us for this 1 ½ hr guided walk with Cath Dyson to increase your confidence. We’ll be using the beautiful Our Green Chorlton map to explore the paths, ponds and benches of Chorlton Ees. You’ll also learn some basic navigation skills to help you become an intrepid explorer of our beautiful green spaces. The pace will be gentle, the guided walk is available to all ages, well behaved dogs welcome. Tuesday 14 September at the car park on Brookburn Road oppostite the Bowling Green, M21 9ES. Meeting from 5.45, leaving 6pm, finish time 7.30 (but can leave early if  needed, we’ll make sure you don’t get lost!) 7WH.
